Splatoon: 5th Japanese TV Commercial shows upcoming new content

With the start of the school holidays in Japan, Nintendo has started promoting Splatoon even more actively in Japan (not that the company really stopped, actually). This morning, a brand new TV Commercial for the game was revealed, and it’s way more interesting than your run of the mill TV Commercial…

Indeed, the TV commercial below shows quite a bit a new content, including:

– new weapons (Gattling Gun, Bucket)
– new maps (Rooftops, a Bridge)
– new gear (such as a straw hat)
– a new mode (Rainmaker, to be added in the August update)
– we also hear new music
