Project MIKHAIL further delayed on Nintendo Switch

Bad news for players looking forward to Project MIKHAIL: its release on Nintendo Switch has been further delayed. It was previously slated for an October release on both Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam), but the lastet Producer Letter reveals that the Nintendo Switch version has been delayed to an unspecified date.

There has indeed been a change of plans: the PC (Steam) version is indeed releasing in October, but it will be an Early Access release. The Nintendo Switch version will launch once the game is ready for final release (which is pretty much what all developers/publishers that have gone the Early Access route have done).

Here’s the Producer Letter:

We’re sorry! Project MIKHAIL was originally intended to be released in October for both Switch and Steam. However, in order to improve the game’s quality, the Steam version will instead be released as Early Access, and the Switch version will be postponed. The Switch version will be released when the Steam version concludes its Early Access period. We’re really sorry to those of you who were looking forward to playing the game on Switch, and we hope you’ll stick with us as we work to improve the game.

Project MIKHAIL (Switch – eShop) does not have a release date yet.
