Pokémon Sun and Moon @ CoroCoro: two new Pokémon revealed

In the previous issue, CoroCoro promised an exclusive scoop about Pokémon Sun and Moon. Thanks to the usual leaks, we already know what it is: two brand new Pokémon, including one that was previously spotted in a CoroCoro video. They will most likely be revealed next week, during the monthly website update.

The two Pokémon are:

Nekkoala (known as the Half Awake Pokémon): a Normal-type Pokémon, with the ability Definite Sleep. That ability prevents it from being afflicted with a status other than sleep;
Iwanko (known as the Puppy Pokémon): a Rock-type Pokémon who can have two Abilities: Keen Eye (prevents your opponent from lowering your accuracy) or Vital Spirit (prevents your Pokémon from falling asleep).

CoroCoro magazine also have details about the Greninja to be distributed in theatres along with Pokémon The Movie: Volcanion and the Ingenious Magearna:

Ability: Protean (when using a move, changes the type of your Pokémon to the type of that move)
Moves: Hydro Cannon, Gunk Shot, Mat Block, and Happy Hour

But that’s not all: attendes will also get a Pokémon Ga-Olé disc when they go watch the movie, and that very disc also has a QR Code (like other discs from that Arcade game). If you scan it in Pokémon Sun and Moon, you will get Magearna.

Here’s some details about that Magearna:

Level: 50
Ability: Soul Heart
Moves: Fleur Cannon, Flash Cannon, Lucky Chant, and Helping Hand

Finally, CoroCoro teases a mysterious secret, involving Rowlet, Litten, Popplio, and Iwanko. Those Pokémon are apparently linked, but we don’t have any other details right now.
