Pokémon news (Nov. 16) – Pokémon Shuffle, Pokkén Tournament

Today, several new stages/challenges went live in Pokémon Shuffle:

  • Mega Manectric challenge is now live in Pokémon Shuffle (3DS and Mobile).As usual, the reward you get depends on your overall rank:
    1. Top 1,000 players in Europe, Top 1,600 players in North America, Top 5,000 players in Japan: Manectite + Mega Speedup
    2. Top 12,000 players in Europe, Top 18,000 players in North America, Top 50,000 players in Japan: Manectite
    3. Top 100 000 players on mobile: Manectite
    4. Top 20,000 players in Europe, Top 30,000 players in North America, Top 80,000 players in Japan: Attack Power
    5. Top 100 000 players on mobile: Attack Power
    6. Not Ranked : Jewel
  • an Escalation Battle featuring Delibird is now available on Nintendo 3DS and Mobile. It runs until November 24th, but it doesn’t allow you to catch Delibird. Instead, you get items:
  1. Level 1: Exp. Points x1.5
  2. Level 5: Moves +5
  3. Level 10: Disruption Delay
  4. Level 15: Exp. Points x1.5
  5. Level 20: Mega Start
  6. Level 30: Attack Power Up
  7. Level 40: Exp. Points x1.5
  8. Level 50: Attack Power Up
  9. Level 60: Moves +5
  10. Level 70: Disruption Delay
  11. Level 80: Mega Start
  12. Level 100: Complexity -1
  • new regular stages were added to the Nintendo 3DS version.

Pokkén Tournament

Following last week’s Nintendo Direct announcements, we have some more news for Shadow Mewtwo in Pokkén Tournament… but this time, it’s for the arcade version. Today, Bandai-Namco announced that Shadow Mewtwo would be featured in a special event from November 20th to December 7th.

It’s actually different from the current battle with it, which is triggered under certain conditions. If you manage to defeat Mega Shadow Mewtwo, you will get a special prize, but we don’t know what it is just yet.

Pokémon news

In its latest issue, CoroCoro magazine is teasing major Pokémon news for 2015 will be revealed in its next issue (out on December 15th). However, we don’t know what this refers to: new game? Details on the next movie? We will have to wait a couple more weeks before finding out.

Zygarde

In March, a special decked called “Perfect Battle Deck: Zygarde EX” will be released in Japan, featuring Complete Forme Zygarde. Also, we have a trailer for Pokémon Tretta Ultimate Z, which shows Compelte Forme Zygarde:

Pokémon distributions

  • from December 23rd to March 6th, Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile will be available via serial codes at the PokémonLab in Japan.
  • you can now get Zygarde in Pokémon X/Y/Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (Japanese version only) using the following code: MEGAMEGA.
  • Zoroark will be available at GameStop stores from November 26th to December 28th, via download codes.
