Pokkén Tournament

Today, Chandelure and two Assist Pokémon (Togekiss and Rotom) were added to the Arcade version of Pokkén Tournament, thanks to the latest update (which also includes more game balance fixes). But that’s not all: a special Valentine’s Day event also went live, and will run until February 28th.

Here’s what you can get thanks to it:

  • special outfit for your avatar, if you manage to get Chandelure up to Level 15 before the end of the event;
  • additional clothing items for your avatar;
  • special titles for your avatar;
  • and more…

Super Bowl

During the Super Bowl 50, The Pokémon Company aired a special commercial for the Pokémon series (which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year). It’s one of the most successful ad this year, with over 18 million views on YouTube alone.

According to iSpot.tv, the commercial generated 41 000 interactions on social media on Sunday night (which is quite impressive, considering the full version of the commercial was uploaded several days before the Super Bowl 50), and 88% percent of people who saw it had a positive opinion.
