Piczle Cells announced for Nintendo Switch, out on June 10th worldwide

Are you a fan of nonogram puzzles? Are you eagerly awaiting the next entry in the Piczle series? If yes, Score Studios have some good and bad news for you. The good news: the next game is indeed being worked on as you’re reading this. The bad news: it’s apparently going to take a little while before it’s ready for release. But fret not: the developers are working on a series of smaller games to tide you over in the mean time. First: Piczle Cells!

Piczle Cells does not feature nonograms, but it’s still going to put your brain to the test with no less than 100 brain-busting puzzles. This time, the goal is to move cute little cells around on a grid, and combine them all until there’s only one left. It does look rather straightforward at first glance, but you can bet things are quickly going to get rather tricky!

Piczle Cells will be released on June 10th worldwide, with Rainy Frong on publishing duties. It’s already available for digital pre-purchase in Japan for 450 Yen (regular price from June 13th: 500 Yen). In Europe and North America, it will cost 4.99€ / $4.99.

The game requires 281MB of free space, and the Japanese version does offer an English language option.
