Otomate Party 2024
The latest Otomate Party event (logically called Otomate Party 2024) took place this weekend in Japan. It was the occasion for Idea Factory to announce several more Otomate / Altergear titles for Nintendo Switch, and give updates on previously announced games.
Here’s a quick recap of everything that was announced/showcased during the event:
- Fuyuzono Sacrifice is releasing in 2025, and got a new video introducing the main cast
- Matsurika no Kei -kEi- Tenmei Kashokuden was revealed. It’s a fan-disc for Matsurika no Kei -kEi- Tenmeiin Iden, released back in February in Japan. No release window for this fan-disc.
- BUNNIES HIGH SCHOOL, a brand new title, was revealed. No release window was provided.
- BYAKKO ~Shijin Butai Enrenki~, a brand new game, was also revealed. It will launch sometime in 2025 in Japan.
- A yet-untitled sequel to 9 R.I.P. was announced. Unfortunately, no release window was shared!
- Several games were announced and/or showcased as part of the Otomate Graffiti brand (which focuses on ports of classic titles):
- Suuran Digit for Nintendo Switch, releasing in 2025
- Soukoku no Kusabi ~Hiiro no Kakera Tamaihime Kitan~ for Nintendo Switch, releasing in 2025
- NB: the video also mentions several games that are already available
- A new Olympia Soirée game, Olympia Soirée Catharsis, was announced. No release window yet!
- OVER REQUIEMZ is now slated for a 2025 release in Japan. Here’s a new video introducing the main cast:
- Mononoke Chigiri was revealed during the event. It will launch sometime in 2025 in Japan!
- Hypnosis Mic -A.R.B- 1st period was also showcased, but no release window was provided.
