Nintendo: Mega Multiplayer Festival now live in Europe with extra benefits for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers
Nintendo has just launched a new event for Nintendo Switch owners in Europe: the Mega Multiplayer Festival. It runs from August 1st to September 8th, and it’s all about multiplayer games. Everyone will be able to enjoy various offers, but there’s also some extra benefits from Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
First up is the Mega 12 + 2 Promotion. It kicks off today (August 1st) and runs until September 8th, During that time, you can get an additional 2 months when you buy a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The offer works for pretty much any type of membership: standard, Expansion Pass, Personal or Familial.
Important note: you get the extra 2 months via a serial code, sent via email within 72 hours of a qualifying purchase. It’s not automatically added to your account: you have to redeem it manually.
Next up is the Mega Gold Points Promotion. It kicks off on August 5th and runs until August 18th. While it’s running, everyone can get bonus Gold Points when purchasing content on the Nintendo eShop: 10% for non-Nintendo Switch Online members, and 20% for Nintendo Switch Online members.
Do note this offer will only be available on select content; namely, the following games:

- Super Mario Party
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons

After that comes the Mega Game Trials. It kicks off on August 19th and runs until August 25th. During that week, Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to play the full version of not just one, but 4 multiplayer games. The full line-up of Game Trials is: Tetris Effect: Connected, PowerWash Simulator, Enter the Gungeon, and Cassette Beasts!
