  • Fixed an issue that prevented the cutscenes to be played upon unlocking the Floor of Art and the Floor of Philosophy.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented removing core pages that have transferred passives, during a reception.
  • Fixed an issue that caused unexpected skips forward in the scenario after setting the text language as “English”.
  • Fixed several minor issues that occured during gameplay.

  • Adds a “Give Up” option to the Start menu, allowing players to immediately return to the invite selection screen even during a reception;
    • If you select this option, you will fail the battle and the book will be consumed.
  • Adds a “Story Filter” function to the settings screen, which enhances the character’s expressions.
  • Improves the user interface of Artbook & Sound Track, making it easier to use.

How to download updates for Library Of Ruina for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Library Of Ruina, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;


  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
