LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Latest Game Informer video features

LEGO Star WarsThis week, as part of their month-long coverage, Game Informer uploaded two video features for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The first one is an interview with Graham Goring (lead story designer) and Phil Gray (cutscene director), who explain how they turned Star Wars: The Force Awakens into a comedy story.

The duo talks about their collaboration with LEGO and Lucasfilm, and reveal that some scenes were pretty hard to LEGO-ify (fans who watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens will most definitely think about that ONE scene).

Here’s the video (warning: it contains major spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens!):

The second video is all about animation, and shows how characters such as Rey, BB-8, and Kylo Ren were brought to life in a LEGO game. Matt Palmer (head of animation) used to work on animation movies (such as Corpse Bridge), and has been working on LEGO games for over 9 years, so he definitely knows a thing or two about animating LEGO.

Unfortunately, the video is available on YouTube yet, but you can check it out on Game Informer’s website!

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Wii U, 3DS) comes out on June 28th in Europe and North America.
