Koei-Tecmo bringing its strategy games to the Nintendo Switch

Koei-Tecmo is known for their Musou / Warriors series: Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors, but also for the strategy equivalent of those two games, Nobunaga’s Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13. While the publisher didn’t announce any game for the former two, they did announce something for the latter two.

Koei-Tecmo is planning to bring the following to the Nintendo Switch (at least, in Japan):

  • Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence with Power-up Kit. Unfortunately, the page on Nintendo’s website doesn’t mention anything specific about the Nintendo Switch version…
  • Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 with Power-up Kit. Unfortunately, the page on Nintendo’s website doesn’t mention anything specific about the Nintendo Switch version…

Naturally, those two are not the only titles Koei-Tecmo is working on for the Nintendo Switch. In fact, we already know about one more title: Fire Emblem Warriors, which seems to be developed by the exact same development team as Hyrule Warriors. They’re also working on Dragon Quest Heroes I & II.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence with Power-up Kit (Switch) will be released on March 3rd in Japan.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 13 with Power-up Kit (Switch) will be released in March in Japan.
Both titles have been added to the Upcoming Releases page.
