Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition – Ver. 1.02

Patch notes:

General / Game Modes

Queen Dizzy is now available in all battle related game modes.

She will be available by applying the latest update.

Queen Dizzy will not be available in Digital Figure mode in this update.

Story Mode

Fixed an issue causing the opposite of the intended behavior for the “Suspend auto sleep mode in Play Story” option.

Battle Related

Fixed several errors in the Command List text for moves such as Nagoriyuki’s Shizuriyuki.

Fixed some visual errors during several animations for some characters and battle stages.

Other

Fixed several issues causing the game to forcibly close sometimes after performing certain actions and under certain conditions.

Fixed an issue causing visual errors when switching between Handheld Mode and TV Mode on certain screens.

Fixed an issue causing the game to become unresponsive after losing network connection under certain conditions.

Fixed other minor issues.

Known issues:

This is an issue of character color no. 7~12 of Queen Dizzy being unavailable in the character select screen. We have already developed a fix for this issue and are currently preparing to deliver an update to address this in the coming days.

Issues occur with audio playback during some scenes in Story Mode.

Initiated matches may experience performance issues when too many people are present within the same room for Player Match mode.

A player who didn’t make any inputs within the Player Match room might leave the room involuntarily when certain inputs are made while other players are entering or exiting the room.

While in Online Mode, players may experience performance issues when opening Button Settings (during a match) within the Game Settings menu under certain circumstances.

How to download updates for Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
