  • Patch notes:

  • Added the ability to resume Time Attack mode from the point where it was interrupted if the application closes unexpectedly during gameplay.
  • Fixed an issue where slowdown sometimes remained active after defeating a boss and returning to the plaza.
  • Corrected a stage name error where Cookie Desert was incorrectly displayed as Orange Desert in some locations.
  • Added a playback mode switch in the Sound Test. The mode can now be changed using D-pad Up.
  • Improved screen frame switching for more stable performance.
  • Made minor adjustments to terrain and environmental elements.
  • Fixed an issue in Stage 6-1 where a wooden crate would not sink.
  • Removed the Energy Recovery Beam from Stage 4.
  • Corrected Taonga dialogue in Stage 1.

How to download updates for Fiz and the Rainbow Planet on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Fiz and the Rainbow Planet, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
