Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club – Launch trailer and Ask the Developer interview
Tomorrow (August 29th), Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club (the very first brand new Famicom Detective Club game in nearly 35 years!) will launch on Nintendo Switch. And to celebrate, Nintendo shared a short launch trailer for the game:
As a member of the Utsugi Detective Agency, it’s up to you to solve the tragic death of a student. A clue recalls cold cases from the past and an urban legend about a killer with a disturbing modus operandi. But does the Smiling Man really exist…or is a new culprit continuing his legacy?
And that’s not all! Nintendo shared the latest Ask the Developer interview today, and it’s all about Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club. It features the following two people:
- Yoshio Sakamoto (Producer)
- Kaori Miyachi (Assistant Producer)
And unlike previous Ask the Developer interviews, all chapters for this one are available right away:
- Part 1: What I really wanted to portray
- Part 2: A fresh new Famicom Detective Club
- Part 3: New approach, new atmosphere
And if you haven’t already, make sure to check out the demo version: all three chapters (and the prologue) are available, and you can transfer your progress to the full version of the game!
Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club (Switch) comes out on August 29th worldwide.
