Today, following the Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo finally opened the official website for Dragalia Lost in English: you can click here to check it out! It features plenty of details and pictures for the game, including the world, the characters, gameplay, and more.
But first, here’s a couple of trailers for the game:
Dragalia Lost – World
If you’ve been following the regular update on Twitter (see this page), then this section doesn’t have anything really new. That being said, it does feature the official English translation of the details shared via Twitter, so it’s definitely worth a read!
Dragalia Lost – Dragons
Here’s some of the Dragons revealed so far:
- Midgarsormr (Element: Wind)
I am Midgarsormr — lord of maelstroms, master of this land, and the storm that shall keep you from harm!
The Windwyrm, a long resident of the Mistholt. The first dragon to personally meet Alberius, he supported him with his extensive knowledge. Stern but fair, he can manipulate weather, and is often referred to as the lord of storms.
- Mercury (Element: Water)
I am Mercury, mistress of the tides and ruler of the waves. I shall be the ocean that carries you!
This protector of Saint Lotier has lived in the nearby waters since antiquity and watched over its people. He once had fins to better dwell in the water, but eventually chose to walk among humans, and so obtained four legs via magic.
- Brunhilda (Element: Fire)
I am Brunhilda, mistress of crimson, the inferno-clad, and the flame that shall guide your way!
The Flamewyrm who dwells in Mount Adolla. Known for having a temper like boiling magma, people fear her wrath. It is rumored that eruptions of Mount Adolla are caused by the overflow of her mana.
- Jupiter (Element: Light)
I am Jupiter — Lightwyrm, lord of storms, and master of these peaks! Now shall I be the gleaming bolt that smites your foes!
The Lightwyrm who rules the thundery skies and has guided countless heroes. The lightning made by his body makes people dream of reaching the heavens. He is rather capricious and hedonistic, perhaps because he came from a superior being.
- Zodiark (Element: Darkness)
I am Zodiark, the Shadowwyrm. I am he who waltzes in the black… I am darkness incarnate! I shall take the strength of the Six Greatwyrms and bury those who have wronged the world!
The Shadowwyrm, a feared legend in South Grastaea who has personally put an end to many a dynasty. People’s resentment has gradually rotted away both his flesh and bone. While bearing fearful power, he has also gained respect from humans.
Dragalia Lost – Characters
And here’s some of the playable characters:
- Main Character, Dragonblood Prince (Element: Fire)
I’ll get stronger to protect what’s important to me!
The seventh heir of the Alberian royal family, he lives with the mutual support of his twin sister Zethia and the faerie Notte. Always smiling, he has a unique blend of unwavering courage and intense consideration of others.
- Zethia, Holy Auspex (Element: Light)
O Illia, grant me the courage to fulfill my Auspex duties as you once did.
The twin sister of the seventh prince, and one of the few maidens of the Church. Quick to cry as a child, she became more stoic after the passing of her mother. She’s now a strong-willed young woman who cherishes her older brother.
Are we gonna go find that dragon or not? Come on!
A mysterious faerie the twins met when they were young. The three of them promised each other they would overcome any hardships together, an oath that Notte takes quite seriously. Her bright, sunny personality can easily raise any group’s spirits.
- Elisanne, Anointed Lance (Element: Water)
For the Paladyns!
A knight of the Ilian Church, and a prodigy whose skill gained her the title of “Paladyn”. However, she’s currently been branded a heretic and is being actively pursued. Though tough, she secretly has some softer interests.
- Ranzal, Arc in the Storm (Element: Wind)
Ranzal rule number one: ain’t no bad day what can’t be cured by some good food.
A skilled mercenary whose sloppy appearance and careless tongue can make for a sour first impression—although he always acts with honor and conviction in the end. He’s been known to occasionally cut a little TOO loose at banquets.
- Cleo, Belle Healer (Element: Darkness)
I have been the guardian of the Mistholt since the duty was first bestowed upon me by my former lord.
A young girl who defended the Halidom for ages while it was sealed in mist, and always has control of her emotions. She now aids the new master of the Halidom, the prince, and is known for her intense housework skills.
- Luca, Woodland Archer (Element: Light)
I’ll be the bridge between sylvans and the outside world.
A boy who loves his home village of Woodhaven. He puts no airs on his honest nature, and is more prone to quick action than deliberation. His love of pranks is often met with punches from his little sister, but he cares for her greatly.
Dragalia Lost – Gameplay
As detailed during the Nintendo Direct presentation, Dragalia Lost is a game that brings together humans and dragons. It features simple controls, where you have to swipe, tap, and slide to move around, attack, launch special skills, and more. During battle, you can shapeshift into a dragon, in order to unleash chaos and pain onto your enemies.
The game can be played in multiplayer, with up to 3 friends. You can either play in co-op through all the regular quests, but you can also take part in time-limited multiplayer raids!
Finally, there’s the Halidom: a holy citadel you can develop to strengthen your characters and dragons. There’s facilities to build and develop, including the Dragon’s Roost where you can give gifts to your dragons and increase your bond with them.
