Today, it was announced that the very first event for Dragalia Lost will start on Thursday. It’s called Loyalty’s Requiem, and it runs from October 4th to Otober 15th (the period for accepting rewards runs until October 22nd). It’s a Raid Event, where up to 16 players team up in order to take down giant, powerful raid bosses, and earn some juicy rewards in the process. You need to have cleared Chapter 2-1 on Normal to participate in this event.

Here’s what this first event is all about:

The Prince and his companions arrive at a volcano to slay the fiends there, but instead find themselves caught up in a battle for the fate of the world. With the help of a passionate instructor and a devoted dragon, can they halt a deadly fiend’s revival before it’s too late?

As mentioned above, this is a Raid Event, played in co-op. Up to 16 players can take on a giant, powerful raid boss, and if they do manage to beat it, they will receive an exclusive 5 ★ dragon. The Raid Boss is a Flame-type one, so make sure to level up your Water-type characters/dragons ahead of the event!

Dragalia Lost: Loyalty’s Requiem – How to play and Rewards/Summon details

Here’s details about the event:

The fiend Phraeganoth will soon awaken, much to the dismay of the dragon Pele. Venture into the fiend’s volcanic lair with armsmaster Celliera and work together to avert a terrible calamity!

This event features a special character: Celliera. She’s only available during the event, but by clearing quests, you can increase your friendship level with her. Once it’s maxed out, you will be able to keep using her as an ally event after the event is over (she even comes with her own Adventurer Story)! Naturally, her level, stats, equipment, and position on your party will be maintained if you do unlock her. If you don’t, do keep in mind that any item used to upgrade her level or her Mana Circle, or to promote her, will not be returned.

Here’s the list of quests available:

  • A Fervid Teacher (Suggested might: 1 500)
  • A Cry for Help (Suggested might: 1 600)
  • Magma Onslaught (Suggested might: 1 700)
  • Boss Battle: Assault on Archeole (Suggested might: 2 000)
  • Raid Battle: Phraeganoth Clash (Suggested might: 8 400)
  • Devotion (Suggested might: 1 900)

By beating bosses, you earn otherworld fragments: you can then use those to challenge the mighty Phraeganoth with your friend during a Raid Battle. During those, all 4 players bring 4 characters each, for a total of 16 characters in battle. There’s 3 difficulty levels: Beginner, Standard, and Expert.  If you’re hosting a room for a raid battle, you will need otherworld fragments and stamina. If you join someone’s room, you only need stamina.

If you manage to clear a Raid Battle on expert, you may get the chance to tackle an Extra Raid Battle: there’s no difficulty level, and once cleared, it simply disappears (however, if you fail to clear it, you can try again). If you’re hosting a room for an Extra Raid Battle, you will need otherworld fragments. If you join someone’s room, you only need stamina.

There’s also the Blazon Summon: it requires peregrine blazons (obtained by clearing boss battles and raid battles), and it allows you to earn big rewards, including an exclusive Wyrmprint and Dragon! If you use the exclusive Wyrmprint on the raid boss, you can boost your damage! You can get a resettable dragon as reward: if you do, you can reset the summon content up to 5 times (after that, you have to accept the rewards).

Here’s the list of Emblems rewards (Bronze, Silver, and Gold):

And here’s the contents of the first Blazing Summon:

Finally, there’s two sets of Endeavours to clear: Daily and Limited. Check out this page for more details about them!

Some additional notes about the event:

  • during Raid Battles, certain skills and abilities only recover 1/4 of the usual amount of HP
  • you cannot use blazons, emblems, or otherworlds fragments obtained during this event in another event
