Dai Gyakuten Saiban: boxart, livestream recording

Yesterday, Shintaro Kojima (Producer) was once again present during the third and last livestream for Dai Gyakluten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken on NicoNico.

At one point, he showed a poster for the game, featuring a rather familiar artwork… but with a different background. It turns out that this artwork is the one used for the final boxart of the game (rated CERO B), which was finally added to the game’s product page on Amazon.co.jp.

It looks like Capcom has decided to do away with the “traditional Ace Attorney artwork”, with 4 cases for the main characters (generally the main attorney, their assistant, the main prosecutor and another major character).

Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken is the first entry in a new Ace Attorney series, and apparently, Capcom wanted a new kind of boxart for it. This boxart is actually quite similar to the one used for Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney!
