Capcom Fighting Collection 2

  • Museum > Music
    • Added a new song to Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001.
    • Added a new song to Power Stone.
  • Museum > Gallery
    • Added 12 new pieces of artwork to Capcom Fighting Collection 2.
    • Added 17 new pieces of artwork to Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper.

Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro

  • Training Mode
    • Training Menu > Dummy Settings
      • Added the Fixed 100% option to the Groove Gauge setting.

Capcom vs. SNK 2 Mark of the Millennium 2001

  • Training Mode
    • Training Menu > Dummy Settings
      • Added the Fixed 100% option to the Groove Gauge setting.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper

  • Added the Additional Characters setting to EX Settings.
    • About Additional Characters
      • When this option is On, the additional characters Eagle, Maki, Yun, and Ingrid will be available.
        • Note: Additional characters will be disabled for casual and ranked matches.
  • Training Mode
    • Training Menu > Dummy Behavior
      • Added the settings Damage Reduction and Timing Guard.
      • Added the following five options to the Recovery setting.
        • Midair Recovery (neutral), Midair Recovery (forward), Midair Recovery (backward), Ground Recovery (close), Ground Recovery (far)
    • Training Menu > Dummy Settings
      • Added the Fixed 100% option to the Super Combo Gauge setting.
  • Added the Mode Select setting to EX Settings.
    • Available options are On, Off, and Original. When this option is On, mode selection is possible on the character select screen.
      • About Mode Select
        • When this option is On, a mode select menu appears on the character select screen.
      • Available modes are NORMAL, MAZI, SAIKYO, and CLASSIC.
        • MAZI
          • The amount of damage you deal and receive are increased. In addition, you lose the match if your opponent wins a single round.
        • SAIKYO
          • Your Guard Power gauge is shortened, and you are easier to stun. However, the score you earn is increased.
        • CLASSIC
          • This mode makes the game similar to Street Fighter II. Super Combos, air guard, and recoveries cannot be used, and the Guard Power gauge is disabled.
            • Note: These modes cannot be used in casual or ranked matches.
  • Training Menu > Dummy Settings
    • Added the Fixed 100% option to the Super Combo Gauge setting.
  • Training Menu > Dummy Settings
    • Added the Fixed 100% option to the Guts Gauge setting.

Power Stone 2

  • Implemented various fixes.

    • Added the Combo Route Display setting.

  • Custom Match
    • Fixed an issue where coins could not be inserted after initially starting the game.
  • Versus Mode
    • Fixed the play sessions stat counter not increasing for rematches.
  • Implemented various fixes.
Capcom vs. SNK Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
  • Fixed characters not rendering properly when the internal resolution option is set to x2 on Nintendo Switch.
  • Fixed the game freezing when using Morrigan’s Darkness Illusion move under certain conditions.
Capcom vs. SNK 2 Mark of the Millennium 2001
  • Fixed an issue where the versus screen would not display after selecting characters in Versus Mode. The order that characters appear can now be changed.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper
  • Reduced instances where some moves would not hit the opponent.
Power Stone 2
  • Fixed an issue where direction inputs would not change Pete’s direction while performing Toy Parade or Propeller Dream.

  • Added Versus Mode.
    • About Versus Mode
      • Fight in offline matches against a second player or the CPU.
      • Match rules can be changed in the versus menu of each game.
  • Added an internal resolution setting. (Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper not supported)
    • About Internal Resolution
      • This setting increases the visual quality of in-game characters, background objects, and UI elements.
      • Note: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One versions have the following internal resolution options available: original and x2.
  • Added a game restart button.
    • Restarting games is only possible in offline Arcade Mode and Arcade Mode while on standby during matching.
  • Added a menu button type setting.
    • The menu can now be set to appear only after holding the menu button for one to three seconds to help avoid accidental match interruptions.

How to download updates for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 on Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Capcom Fighting Collection 2, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
