- The new “Boss Rush” mode has been added. (Once certain in-game conditions are met, this mode will be added to the Title Screen)
- An issue that was causing the game to crash in Stage 7 after passing through a warp gate has been fixed.
- An issue that was causing one of Alfred’s sub-weapons to not pierce enemy shields when it was supposed to has been fixed.
- An issue that was causing Alfred’s Voltaic Ray to not behave properly against a certain boss has been fixed.

In Ver. 1.2.0 of the game, auto-save does not activate after exiting Boss Rush Mode. As a workaround, you can enter Boss Rush Mode once again in order to trigger an auto-save. This issue will be fixed in an upcoming update for the game.

How to download updates for Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 for the Nintendo Switch?
To download the updates for Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
