Arcade Archives Viper Phase 1 releases this week on Nintendo Switch

Hamster has announced that the latest Arcade Archives release on Nintendo Switch is Viper Phase 1. It’s a vertically scrolling shooter originally developed and released on Arcade by Seibu Kaihatsu back in 1995 in Japan.

On Nintendo Switch, Viper Phase 1 will launch on December 12th and it will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / $7.99 / 838 Yen. The Japanese version will offer an English language option.

Here’s a trailer, some details, and some screenshots:

While the game system is orthodox, the extremely high quality of this popular title has made it a favorite among shoot’em up fans. This title includes both the “OLD version” that was in operation in the early days and the “NEW version” that was rearranged later.
