Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Early details about upcoming features (Friendship Levels, new terrain, more)

Ever since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was released, the developers have constantly been working on new features to improve the gameplay experience. Today, they shared some early details about upcoming features coming soon to the game, most likely as part of the Ver. 1.6.0 update.

The first big change impacts the Friendship Level with Animals. Soon, the level cap will rise from 20 to 25, allowing you to grow even closer to your favourite Animals. Also, new terrain will be added: sunflower field… perfect for Summer! It will be available for both middle and foreground.

But that’s not all: even more bugs, fish, shells are on the way, and will start appearing at Sunburst Island, Lost Lure Creek, and Saltwater Shores.

Finally, the developers list some of the changes / improvements coming soon to the game, based on players’ feedback:

  • You will be able to change how your items in Clothes and Furniture are sorted;
  • You will be able to check each Animal’s theme from their main page in Contacts;
  • You will be able to change how the Animals in Contacts are sorted;
  • You will be able to fast-forward through conversations with Animals;
  • You will be able to skip the animations that play when an Animal’s Friendship Level is increased.
