Yesterday, during the Nintendo Digital Event, Nintendo revealed a brand new Animal Crossing game, which is coming out this year on Wii U. It’s called Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, and as the name implies, it puts a heavy focus on amiibo figures (but also the amiibo cards, which are compatible with the game).
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is a party game, in which the board is based on the months of the year… just like the other games in the Animal Crossing series. Your goal is pretty simple: become the happiest villager!
Nintendo will release a special bundle for the game, which will include:
– the game;
– two amiibo (Isabelle and Digby)
– three amiibo card;
Here’s the main features of the game:
- Party with favorite Animal Crossing characters like Isabelle and Tom Nook—who have become amiibo.
- Experience the Animal Crossing universe in light-hearted board games based on the calendar, including the four seasons and seasonal events.
- Bring your amiibo to the party, collect Happy Points, play with your friends, and save your Happy Points to your amiibo to expand your own game even more.
- Use Animal Crossing amiibo cards in fun minigames.
