amiibo: Mega Yarn Yoshi announced, release date for additional figures
Today, Nintendo of America reiterated that Yoshi’s Woolly World would come out on October 16th in North America, where it would get two editions:
- regular ($49.99)
- bundle with Green Yarn Yoshi ($59.99)
On the same day, Nintendo will release the Green, Blue and Pink Yarn Yoshi amiibo in North America, for $16.99. Those are among the biggest amiibo ever made… but the special amiibo also announced today is much, much bigger! Introducing… Mega Yarn Yoshi!
Mega Yarn Yoshi will come out on November 15th in North America, and November 27th in Europe, and it will cost $39.99 (the European price remains TBA). If you’re wondering whether it will allow you to use Mega Yoshi at any time in Yoshi’s Woolly World or not, the answer is… no! It will work as a regular Yarn Yoshi amiibo.
Finally, Nintendo gave the release date for various amiibo in Europe and North America:
- September 25th (Europe): R.O.B., Mii Fighters, Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt Duo.
- November 1st (North America): Mii Fighters (3 pack, $39.99)
- November 13th (North America): Mewtwo amiibo ($12.99)
- November 20th (Europe and North America): Falco amiibo
