ACA NeoGeo: over 200 000 units sold worldwide, Garou: Mark of the Wolves out next week

The ACA NeoGeo is a series of retro games ported to modern consoles by Hamster, and more precisely a sub-series of the Arcade Archive series focusing on NeoGeo titles. 14 titles have already been released so far, and there’s still a lot more on the way, to be released in the upcoming weeks and months.

Today, Hamster announced via Twitter that sales of the ACA NeoGeo series on Nintendo Switch have topped 200 000 units. Since 13 titles were available when the announcement was made, that means each title has sold about 15 000 units on average. Obviously, some of them are (way) more popular than others, such as Metal Slug and Metal Slug 3 for example.

The next title in the series is none other than Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which will be released on May 11th worldwide. It will cost 6.99€ / £6.29 / £6.99 / 820 Yen.

And here’s the other announced titles without a release date (that we can still guess based on the launch schedule of the previous releases)

  • The King of Fighters ’99: Millenium Battle (May 18th?)
  • Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors (May 25th?)
  • Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad (June 1st?)
  • Last Resort (June 8th?)
  • Sengoku (June 15th?)
