Improvements

We heard your feedback and have updated how the Overall Rank displayed on the Work Board! Your Overall Rank will now be calculated using only the days you’ve completed, rather than including every possible day.
Happy Harbour: Surprise Pirate. The Surprise Pirate will now be hidden while the Peg Leg Job is active on Day 1. We’ve made this change following feedback from players who found it frustrating to be penalised for accidentally shooting the wrong peg leg.
Rifle & Camera Controls: Your viewing direction will no longer reset when switching between Rifle and Camera modes. This change is based on feedback from players who found they could lose track of their target when switching between the two… good spot!
Central City Day 2 Emergency: We’ve increased the amount of time available during the Day 2 Emergency to give you more time to work out what needs to be done.
Aces Airport Day 2 Emergency: We’ve also increased the amount of time available during the Day 2 Emergency following similar player feedback.
Answerphone Tutorial: The tutorial pointing hand will now direct you towards the open door after activating the Answerphone making it clearer where you need to go next.
Funky Farm Boss: We’ve made the Funky Farm Boss easier and more accurate following feedback from players who found this section frustrating at times.
Aces Airport Boss: The number of lives available during the Aces Airport Boss has been increased from 3 to 5 giving you more time to work out what you need to do.
There was a small PC update that went out just before launch that fixed a few German words, and added B as a back button when viewing the in game hint/Job menu on the right side of the screen.

Fixes

Jiangshi Achievement: Fixed an issue where the Jiangshi achievement would not appear on the fridge after being unlocked.
Remove Posters Job: Fixed an issue where the Remove Posters job could visually overlap with the Clean Dishes job making it too difficult to find.
Time Attack Awards: Fixed an error that could appear when earning a Time Attack award if you didn’t own the Plushie Self.
Job List Crash: Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash when pressing Back and navigating the Job List while transitioning from normal play into a Boss or Bonus Job.

How to download updates for Sniper Dan on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2?

To download the updates for Sniper Dan, you have three options:

let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
