Rhythm Heaven Groove: overview trailer, additional footage
As expected, Rhythm Heaven Groove was showcased during the latest Nintendo Direct presentation. But what’s rather unusual, it was the overview trailer itself that was shown, instead of just another trailer.
For those of you who missed the Nintendo Direct (and those who just want to rewatch the trailer), here’s the overview trailer for the game:
Take on over 80 games & challenge your rhythm in single player or play with up to four friends & get in the groove with over 30 co-op & competitive rhythm games.
If that’s not enough for you, and would like to see more of the game in action, here’s another video with over 5 minutes of additional footage:
And finally, here’s additional details from Nintendo’s press release:
Rhythm Heaven Groove: Tune in and groove to a collection of games that will challenge your rhythm! See if you can time your button presses to the beat across new rhythm games that are easy to learn and rewarding to master: over 80 rhythm games for solo play and over 30 for co-op and competitive multiplayer3. Catch flying veggies, bounce fruit off your biceps, swing sledgehammers, and other activities – all to the beat! Gather up to four players around a single system to slice arrows, pluck hair from onions, and more. There’s also an unlockable mode called Beatspell – use the magical power of rhythm to cast spells to defeat monsters! Featuring catchy original music, including tracks by renowned Japanese musician Tsunku♂, Rhythm Heaven Groove bops its way onto Nintendo Switch July 2 and is also playable on Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders for Rhythm Heaven Groove are available now.
Rhythm Heaven Groove (Switch) comes out on July 2nd worldwide.
