Nintendo Museum: Official Book goes on sale on October 2nd
As part of the Super Mario Bros. 40th Anniversary celebrations, Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Museum is getting another special promotion. Starting October 2nd, visitors will be able to get their hands on Volume 1 of the Nintendo Museum: Official Book.
As the name indicates, this is a guidebook for the Nintendo Museum, which explains why it will only be available for purchase at the museum itself (and more precisely at the Art Gallery located on the 2nd floor of Exhibition Building 1).
This book offers an in-depth guide to the museum, and includes special features celebrating the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.
Here’s what the cover looks like:

The Nintendo Museum: Official Book costs 1,650 Yen (taxes included, cashless payments-only), and will be available in both English and Japanese. However, each visitor will only be able to purchase one copy (either English or Japanese — you can’t get one copy of each!).
And as mentioned above, it will only be available for purchase at the Nintendo Museum (though it won’t take long before copies start showing up on auction sites), and nowhere else (not even the official Nintendo Stores).
Finally, the Volume 1 in the title implies that new volumes will be released in the future, no doubt to take into account any updates to exhibits and other activities available at the Nintendo Museum (or for other anniversaries).
