- The number of matches required to win can now be set to 1 – 10, 50, or 100. Try turning the Wins Display setting on in Battle HUD Settings for a tournament feel!

- The results menu will now display even if the other player skips the victory animation at the end of a match.

Battle Settings
- Added the VS challenge screen. This challenge screen type displays the characters of both players. Set this challenge screen type with the Layout option in the Challenge Customization menu of Character Settings. The sound that plays on the challenge screen can also be changed between yours, your opponent’s, or random.
- Comic: Elena challenger screen added.
Options
- Option categories have been reworked to make finding settings easier.
- Settings unable to be changed now display the reason they cannot be changed.
- Added the Wins Display setting to the Battle HUD Settings options in the Interface menu.
- Added the Main Menu Tutorial setting to the Other Settings options in the Interface menu.

- After updating, you will not be able to play back replays from earlier versions.
CFN > Replay
- Replays saved to your Replay List, or Local Replays, will remain saved but cannot be played back.
- You cannot search for replays from previous versions.
Fighter Profile
- History data from previous versions will not be displayed.
V-Rival
- Until Sim Sim learns the new battle version, it may not be able to handle the newest techniques and movements.

- Perks effects have been lowered or raised based on usage and win rates. Primarily, defensive perks, gauge boost perks, and conditional damage boost perks have been adjusted.

V-Rival
- Added Control Settings, Command List, and Options to the in-battle pause menu.
- Replays can now be viewed for battles against Sim Sim virtual opponents. Replays are accessible from the post-match results screen or by selecting Results in the Sim Sim menu.
CFN
- When the maximum number of blocked users is reached, attempting to block another user will unblock the user with the oldest login date to free up space for the new user to be blocked.
Music Player
- Added Edge of Triumph by Yoko Shimomura to the music player.
Gallery
- Added the Console tab to the Game Center and four titles supporting free play.
News
- Added the ability to view the contents of previously claimed offers.
Other
- Added explanations for each mode in the main menu. These explanations will disappear after selecting all modes, but can be reenabled with the Main Menu Tutorial setting in the options.
- Elena chat stickers added to the Phrases category.
- It is now possible to input custom messages while reporting players for cheating. Messages are not necessary to submit a report.
- Added stricter enforcement against inappropriate words for player names, club names, and chat messages. This change primarily applies to English.
Fixes Implemented various fixes.

- adds support for DLC characters released after Mr. Bison: Terry, Mai, Elena.
How to download updates for Street Fighter 6 on Nintendo Switch 2?
To download the updates for Street Fighter 6, you have three options:
- let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off
If not…
- try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;
OR
- select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.
To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
