  • Added the “2D Game Editor (Beta)” tool.
    • This allows you to configure settings such as camera positioning and movement restrictions for creating 2D-style games.
      • Example: Displaying the character from the side and restricting movement to horizontal directions enables the creation of a side-scrolling action game, while a top-down view allows for the creation of a top-down shooting game.
  • ”Drop Straight Down” has been added to “How to Drop” of the “Item Drop” command setting in the Event Editor.
  • Added a new “Tutorial Book Display” option to the “Window Type” setting in the “Screen Switching” command of the Event Editor.
    • This option allows you to display the TERAVIT tutorials including controls and status effects.

  • Fixed an issue where the “Appearance Time” option labeled as “Night (20:00–4:00)” was incorrectly displayed. It has been updated to “Night (19:00–4:00)” to match the actual behavior.

  • When the ‘Iteration’ command in the Event Editor is executed for all players, the system variable ‘CHR_DIST’ now allows you to measure the distance to the target player.
  • Added the ‘World Portal’ feature, allowing movement to Worlds set in the portal from within the room.
    • If the designated world is accessible, this feature allows members of the current room to be directly moved to the specified world.
    • If the same world as the current one is selected, it can be used to reset the world and have players restart.

Compensation for the Current Issue

We have implemented the following compensation for the worlds ‘Warrior of Hope’ and ‘Chat World’.

  • For players on the Nintendo Switch version, there was an issue where items would disappear when starting multiplayer by selecting ‘Play in the same room together’. We have provided compensation by sending the missing items to the ‘Gacha Storage’ accessible from the Gacha Machine in the world. Please check for the compensation in the game.
  • When playing multiplayer as the room master, there was an issue where acquired items were not being saved properly. We have provided compensation by sending the items that were not saved to the ‘Gacha Storage’ accessible from the gacha machine in the world. Please check for the compensation in the game.
  • For players who joined the multiplayer as a participant, there was an issue where acquired items were not being saved properly. Please contact us through the inquiry form with ‘Information of the affected world and the missing items’ that you would like assistance with. We will investigate the logs and provide compensation after confirming the details only for items purchased with Jewels.

  • If Jewels are selected as the reward for a trade item, the reward gift can now only be received on the platform where the item was sold.
  • After registering the desired items through the trading function, when the expiration date passes the gift can now only be opened on the platform where item was registered.
    • The expiration period for the corresponding gift is 90 days.
  • When withdrawing an item listed using the trade function, items that were listed on a platform with different item management for the item the player wants to sell can no longer be withdrawn.
    • Regarding items for purchase, items listed on different platforms cannot be withdrawn.
  • Added a feature to disable the display of pop-ups that appear upon clearing Achievements.
    • Turn off “Display on Achievement Clear” from the “Account Related Settings” screen (accessible from “Account”) to prevent pop-ups from being displayed.

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to obtain items in an unauthorized way by performing certain operations.
    • This has a significant impact on game progression, and for players who have been listing items in trades that they would not normally be able to acquire, as well as for players who will do so in the future, the following measures will be taken.
    • Removing fraudulent items that are currently listed
    • Deleting play data in Worlds where items were acquired using the bug.
    • Deleting Jewels or Points obtained through the sale of items acquired using the bug
    • The players in question will be subject to a BAN until the above-mentioned correspondence is completed

To World creators, if there have been damages caused by unauthorized players due to this issue, please contact the operations team through the inquiry form.     • The Room Master can take the stage as a performer and deliver a live-like performance to an audience.

  • The object “Fan Board” has been added. Details regarding the “Fan Board” are as follows:
    • The Fan Board is installed in the new world “Performace Hall (α)”.
    • Each Fan Board has designated players to whom messages can be sent, and players can confirm the recipient’s username on the Fan Board screen.
    • Players can send Jewels with messages.
    • The number of Jewels paid determines the number of days the message will be displayed at the top of the Fan Board, the maximum number of characters, and the maximum number of lines available.
    • Points generated by the paid Jewels will be returned to the user who received the message.
  • The object “Special Gacha” has been added. Details regarding the “Special Gacha” are as follows:
    • The Special Gacha is installed in the new world “Performance Hall (α)”.
    • Some of the prizes include real goods, which players can have delivered to them at a later date by entering their address.
    • The points generated by paid Jewels will be returned to the player selling the goods.
  • The following items have been added. Each item can be sold by the general Shop Clerk.
    • Penlight (Each Color)

  • Made a temporary change so that when playing Gacha from a first-person perspective, the camera switches to a third-person perspective.
Bugs Fixed
  • Issues with the following Skin Parts have been fixed. For avatars that have already been applied, the changes will take effect by editing and saving the parts again.
    • The face parts of “Fluffy Angel” had a problem where the chin would break when the expression changed.
    • Some colors were not applied to parts of the head of the “Devil Girl”.
  • Fixed the issue of the surface effects of “Green Gem”, “Blue Gem”, and “Red Gem” being displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed the issue in the World “Unions”, where durability decreased even when swinging weapons in empty spaces.
  • Fixed the issue where the client freezes when posting in the Global Chat.

  • Released a new world ‘Unions (α)’.
    • Players will be divided into two teams, engaging in battles based on their chosen roles.
    • The team with the most points wins in this competitive team battle.
    • The icons for Teams A ~ D have been updated.
  • In the Switch version, players can now check for updated files when they return to the world list by leaving a room, etc..
  • The following additions have been made to the system variables of the Event Editor:
    • “QUEST_ID: Quest ID” allows players to retrieve the ID of the specified quest.
    • “MAIN_QUEST: Main Quest Identification” enables players to determine whether the specified quest is a main quest or not.
    • Players can retrieve the state of the quest with “QUEST_STATE: Quest State”. Each state is as follows:
      • 1: Quest Occurance
      • 2: Quest Accepted
      • 4: Quest Complete ※1
      • 5: Quest Failed ※1
      • 6: Quest Reward Received ※2
        • ※1 Regarding States 4 and 5, if it is a main quest, the game will transition to Quest Occurance 1 second after it is completed.

    • Players can get the remaining time of an ongoing “Time Attack” quest under “QUEST_TIMELIMIT: Quest Remaining Time”.
      • Quests can be obtained using the “Quest List” in the event editor’s “Iteration” command. If used outside of iteration, the main quest will be specified.
  • Adjusted the timing of Chat Log occurrences during login and player kills in the game “Arena Shooter”.
  • Updated so official Skins cannot be deleted.

  • Fixed the issue where changing weapons would render the controls unresponsive.
  • Fixed the issue where equipping a shield that increases the power of specific weapons and attacking multiple opponents would result in a significant increase in damage to subsequently hit opponents.
  • Fixed the issue where certain operations could cause world data to be retained in worlds that should not be retained, or vice versa.
  • Fixed the issue on the following screens where pressing and holding the middle-equipped weapon slot would move the player to another slot:

  • Fixed the issue in the Event Editor’s ‘Set Status’ command where the settings for the ‘Damage Multiplier’ effect value and effect duration were not being reflected for the status type ‘State Change’.

  • Fixed the issue where after linking accounts with an account created on the smartphone version, signing in on a different device and then signing out would sometimes prevent signing in again on the original device
  • Fixed the issue where the application forcibly closed when opening the Friend details screen while holding down the right stick when using a controller.
  • The error messages that appear when entering a room have been updated. Additionally, the issue in the PC version where the mouse cursor was not being displayed when an error occurred has been fixed.

How to download updates for TERAVIT for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for TERAVIT, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
