Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! Ikuzo! Go Rush!! to be released on December 1st, first-print copies to include Secret Rare cards

This December, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will get to discover a brand new Yu-Gi-Oh! game on Nintendo Switch. It’s called Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! Ikuzo! Go Rush!! (quite the mouthful!), and it will be released on December 1st in Japan.

This new game is based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush anime series, and allows fans to battle against characters from that series. The game also offers multiplayer with local and online modes, but also a Ranked Match mode.

Unlike the previous game, Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! Ikuzo! Go Rush!! will be available in two editions:

  • a Standard Edition (digital-only), which can be played for free. It features all basic gameplay elements of the “full” game;
  • a Special Edition (retail and digital), sold 6 600 Yen and 5 500 Yen respectively. First-print copies at retail come with 3 rare and powerful cards: Greystorm Reverie, Magician’s Valkyria and Heavy Storm (all Secret Rare cards)

But that’s not all: retail copies of the Special Edition also come with a scratch card that will allow players to take part in a special campaign. 1 000 lucky winners will be able to get their hands on a special card: Blue-Eyed’s Dragon Secret Rare SPECIAL BLUE Ver.!

Finally, here’s some screenshots for the game:
