Streets of Rage 4: Shiva reveal (Mr. X Nightmare DLC)

Later this year, Streets of Rage 4 is getting some more content with the release of a free Software update, but also a piece of paid DLC called Mr. X Nightmare.

This DLC adds the following to the game:

3 new playable characters
a Survival mode
new original music from Tee Lopes (who previously worked on Sonic Mania, League of Legends, and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, and others)

DotEmu have shared a new video for this DLC, revealing one of the new playable characters: Shiva!

Play as Shiva, the charismatic Kenpō master, whose time has come to repent. Ready to leave the Syndicate for good, Axel Stone’s former rival is now determined to make a difference in Mr. X Nightmare.

And in case you missed them, here’s the videos for the other two playable characters: Estel and Max Thunder!

Play as officer Estel Aguirre, one of Mr. X Nightmare’s three included fighters, as she goes off duty to join forces with the heroes of Streets of Rage 4 for the first time. Formerly appearing in the game as an intimidating, boss fight-style foe, Estel’s powerful slugs and spin kicks dish out serious damage to anyone foolish enough to get in her way.

Max Thunder finally joins the fight with his powerful moves and awesome wrestling techniques!

Streets of Rage 4: Mr. X Nightmare (Switch – DLC) does not have a release date yet, but is slated for a 2021 release worldwide.
