RICO – Ver. ???

  • Hardcore Case Mode – Players now have access to a brand new variation on case mode. Hardcore case allows players to take their existing selection of unlocked weapons and equipment into a new case, but at a higher difficulty level affording them the ultimate RICO challenge.
  • Challenge Mode – Challenge mode is a whole new way to play RICO, with 27 levels (18 single player and 9 co-op) of intense goal-based action. Players will work against the clock to beat specific timed challenged within each level, pushing themselves and their skills to the limits. Challenge mode also allows players to earn Reputation Points (RP) and unlock weapons skins in offline play for the very first time.

    • Other small bug fixes

  • Improved performance on all platforms
  • Minimum bomb timers increased to ease difficulty on later case mode levels

  • Added accessibility options to make sprint, crouch, and aim controls toggle rather than hold
  • Fix for inability to complete level when no evidence spawns
  • Fix for Heavy Duty trait
  • Prevent seekers spawning on player at exit
  • Some level generation fixes
  • Various small bug fixes
  • Changes to speed up future patch iteration

How to download updates for RICO for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for RICO, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
