Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp – Fishing Tourney, Bug + Fish size record, and easier gardening coming soon

A few days ago, Nintendo released the second major Software update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, but the developers are already hard at work prepping the next set of events and new features.

First, we have a staple of the Animal Crossing series… Fishing Tourneys!

A Fishing Tourney will be held soon, at Saltwater Shores, with special fish appearing just for the occasion. Bringing the fish you catch to Chip will allow you to get special clothing and pieces of furniture, based on the number and size of fish you bring him.

Speaking of fishing, you will soon be able to view the sizes of all the fish you catch, but also all the bugs that find their way into your bug net. The Catalog will let you check out your biggest (and smallest!) catches at any time.

But that’s not all: the developers are also working on ways to make gardening easier. Soon, you will be able to plant, harvest, and water multiple flowers at a time in your garden!

Here’s some pictures for those new features and events:

Unfortunately, it’s not clear when all of this will go live, but as usual, we invite you to keep an eye on the Events and Content Updates page to keep up to date!
