LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Gameplay Trailer
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the latest game in the popular series of LEGO video games, and it’s coming out on June 28th on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS (in Europe and North America, with Japan most likely getting it later this year). The game got a first trailer when it was revealed, and today, it got a second one.
While the first one only showed cutscenes, this second trailer actually shows a bit of gameplay. More precisely, we get to see two of the new gameplay mechanics:
- Multi-Builds: you use LEGO bricks to open up new paths, and then break them apart to create more paths;
- Blaster Battles: you can use your surroundings as cover.
The trailer also mentions and shows the extra canon content that was featured in Game Informer’s month-long coverage of the game (click here for more details), such as:
- a mission explaining how C-3PO got his red-arm replacement
- a mission showing how the Rathar creatures were captured
