3D Streets of Rage 2: screenshots and 3D trailer

Exactly two weeks ago, SEGA announced a new round of SEGA 3D Classics to be released on the Nintendo eShop of the 3DS. Today, the first of those three titles came out in Japan: 3D Streets of Rage 2 (or 3D Bare Knuckles II). Besides the usual features found in other 3D Classics, it includes two brand new ones:

– a Quartet mode, where all 4 player characters are on the screen, and you can play with them sequentially;
– a 2-player co-op mode, via local wireless.

Yesterday, SEGA uploaded a 3D trailer for the game (that you can check out in 3D via the internet browser of the New Nintendo 3DS!), that you can find below:

And today, SEGA also revealed some screenshots for 3D Streets of Rage 2. They show, among other things, some of the options for the game, including the ones for display (classic and normal).

If you’re interested in 3D Streets of Rage 2, you can download it right away if you own a Japanese Nintendo 3DS. You will need 397 blocks of free space on your SD Card!

3D Streets of Rage 2 (3DS eShop) came out today in Japan, and will be released in July in Europe and North America.
