Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure (3DS) to be revealed in Famitsu

After Taiko Drum Master: Chibi Dragon to Fushigi na Orb and Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken, the Taiko Drum Master series is about to get a third entry on Nintendo 3DS. The game is called Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure, and will get a 2-page article in Famitsu magazine later this week.

We don’t have many details about the game, other than it will feature a similar RPG-like game mode (similar to the one found in the previous entry on Nintendo 3DS) called “Mystery Adventure mode”. Based on the timing of the reveal, and the release date of the previous two enties on Nintendo’s handheld, we can assume the game will come out sometime in June in Japan.

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine will be released on Thursday in Japan.

Taiko Drum Master: Dokodon! Mystery Adventure (3DS) will be released this year in Japan. Unfortunately, a release in Europe and/or North America seems pretty unlikely, since very few games in the series actually made it out of Japan… The game was added to our Upcoming Releases page.
