Story of Seasons: latest entry to get a Hamtaro collaboration

This week, Famitsu magazine will have an article about Bokujou Monogatari 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (the latest entry in the Story of Seasons series). As mentioned in the Famitsu preview, a special collaboration will be revealed in that issue of the magazine, and it looks like we will not have to wait for it to be out before finding out more.

It turns out this collaboration is with… the Tottoko Hamtaro series! As mentioned previously, you will be able to keep some animals (cats, dogs) as pets, and it looks like you will be able to get the one and only Hamtaro as one. Unfortunately, it’s not clear what you will have to do in order to unlock Hamtaro (if you have to at all).

Hamtaro will be voiced by Kurumi Mamiya, who is the original voice actress. Famitsu explains that this collaboration was endorsed by Ritsuko Kawai, the author of the original Hamtaro manga. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about this collaboration for now, though some scans may leak by tomorrow (when the digital edition of the magazine will go live in Japan). Bokujou Monogatari 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (the latest entry in the Story of Seasons series) (3DS) comes out on June 23rd in Japan.
