7th Dragon III: details and screenshots/artworks for 4 of the jobs

Today, SEGA revealed some additional details about 7th Dragon III code:VFD (and more precisely four of the jobs), complete with some artworks and screenshots. The four jobs detailed are:

– Samurai: a well balanced class, with good attack and defense. They’re among the most reliable party members you could get, and their high attack speed is definitely something you can rely on during battles. They use non-element close-range attacks, which are useful in many different situations.

– Agent: experts in hacking, who attack with dual pistols. As you can imagine, they have plenty of shooting skills at their disposal, but they can also attack enemies by surprise or inflict status ailment using their hacking skills. In addition, they can also trap enemies using, well… traps! One of their skill is called “Air Assault”, and it allows them to jump in the air in order to shoot down all enemies using their pistols.

– God Hands: they have mastered both martial arts and medicine. Their name comes from the fact that they use their hands both for attacking enemies and for healing allies. Each time they use skills, it adds stacks to their “God Depth”, which allows them to use even more powerful skills. In battle, they can use various skills to heal allies, but also deal with enemies using powerful close-range attacks. They also have a Counter skill, which activates at the end of a turn if they take damage.

– Duelist: they can use a skill called “Mind Crush”. Thanks to their mana, they can make traps and monsters appear from their cards. According to SEGA, their forte is strategy: pull out the best cards from their decks during battle, and victory is yours!

Here’s some examples of things they can summon with cards:

1) Fire Dragon: requires 3 Fire cards, attacks enemies with fire and add a burn effect;
2) Judgement Turn: only activate when all 3 trap skills are set. Allows you to deal massive magic damage at the end of your turn.
