Yo-kai Watch 4 and Yo-kai Watch 4++ – Ver. 2.2.0

• Release date: April 15th 2020 (Japan)
• Patch notes:

• adds support for toys set to be released in late April and beyond
• Fixed various bugs to improve the gameplay experience.

Yo-kai Watch 4 – Ver. 1.2.1

– When loading the game after updating to Ver. 1.2.0, there may be cases were unequipped items end up in the equipped state. This update fixes this glitch, which was preventing said items from being equipped.

Yo-kai Watch 4 – Ver. 1.1

• Additional notes: this is the Day 1 update for the game. Unfortunately, we don’t know what was fixed and/or improved. By the way, as with previous Yo-kai Watch games, downloading this update allows you to get a set of bonus items.

How to download updates for Yo-kai Watch 4 for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Yo-kai Watch 4, you have three options:

• let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

• try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

• select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title. You can also launch the game: the version number is displayed in the bottom right corner of the Title Screen.
