Wildermyth: Console Edition – Ver. ??? (Patch #1)

All consoles 

  • Identified and fixed an issue that could cause saves to become corrupted. If saves have been broken due to this issue, these saves should be repaired.   
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent heroes from aging correctly.   
  • Fixed an issue that could cause textures to disappear during combat.  
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash in the crafting menu when playing co-op.  
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash if you killed enemies too quickly in combat.  
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash in combat if NPCs became playable.   
  • Fixed an issue that could cause crashes and visual issues with UI in the Character Sheet.  
  • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash when damaging a spirit with an ability that also caused an aspect to be applied.  
  • Additional fixes and stability improvements.   

Nintendo Switch  

  • Fixed an issue that caused the framerate to run unlocked, this should provide a more consistent playing experience.   
  • Fixed a rendering issue with fires. 

How to download updates for Wildermyth: Console Edition for the Nintendo Switch?

To download the updates for Wildermyth: Console Edition, you have three options:

  • let the console do its thing if you have automatic downloads activated, and didn’t completely turn it off

If not…

  • try to launch the game from the Home Menu while being connected to the internet. You should get a prompt when doing so: simply follow the instructions on screen;

OR

  • select the game > press either + or – to go to the Options page > select Software update > select Via the Internet.

To check that you have the latest version installed, simply select the game on the Home Menu, and press – or + to go to the Options: the version number is displayed just below the game title.
