Pokémon Detective Pikachu

Today, it was announced that a pre-release event for Pokémon Detective Pikachu will take place on April 25th, in Tokyo. The movie will not be screened there (despite the event being called a World Premiere!), though the following people will be in attendance:

  • Ryan Reynold (Detective Pikachu)
  • Justice Smith (Tim Goodman)
  • Kathryn Newton (Lucy Stevens)
  • Ken Watanabe (Lieutenant Yoshida)
  • Ryoma Takeuchi (Tim Goodman’s Japanese VA)
  • Marie Iitoyo (Lucy Steven’s Japanese VA)
  • Rob Letterman (Director)

Also, the following day (on April 26th), there will be an early screening event in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, where the English version of the movie (with Japanese subtitles) will be screened. Pokémon GO

Another special event for Pokémon GO was announced today, this time coinciding with the Armageddon Expo in Wellington (New Zealand), from April 13th to April 15th. Here’s the usual bonuses that will be live on-site:

  • increased Pokémon spawns (Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup)
  • Double Stardust
  • 4 Hours Lure Modules

Pokémon Trading Card Game

The Pokémon Compant have announced a new set for the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Japan, called Sky Legend. It will be released at the end of the month, on April 26th.
