Nintendo: new Wii U bundle and various deals for Black Friday
Black Friday is in less than two weeks (on November 27th), and it will kick off the holiday shopping periods for many Americans. It’s a very important day for many businesses, but also video game companies and publishers. This includes Nintendo, which has prepared a very agressive bundle for the Wii U this year.
It includes:
- all the contents of the Wii U Premium Set
- Splatoon (pre-loaded)
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (pre-loaded)
Its MSRP will be 279$, which is already pretty impressive… but some retailers will sell it for as low as 250$, making it one of the best deal ever for the Wii U. If you don’t own the console yet, this is definitely something to look forward to!
Nintendo also detailed various other deals for Black Friday:
New Nintendo 3DS XL
- $20 off ($179.99) at Best Buy, Target, Toys R Us, GameStop and Walmart.com
Nintendo 3DS XL
- Bundle with Super Mario 3D Land (download code): $129.99 at Amazon.com, $129 at Walmart
amiibo
- All figures and cards: buy one, get one for 40% off at Toys R Us
- Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Mario amiibo figure – Modern Color for $12.96 (Walmart exclusive)
Wii U games
The following games will be available for $25 at Walmart:
- Splatoon
- Mario Party 10
Nintendo 3DS Games
The following games will be available for $15 at Target:
- New Super Mario Bros. 2
- Mario Kart 7
- Super Mario 3D Land
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Finally, Nintendo announced that plenty of Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games will be on sale from Nov. 25 at 9 a.m. PT to Dec. 2 at 8:59 a.m. PT on the Nintendo eShop. Those Nintendo eShop cyberdeals will all be listed here, but we will also have a separate post for them!
