Nintendo Museum gets an Art Gallery this September
If you’re interested in the long and rich history of Nintendo, the Nintendo Museum is one place you definitely want to check out. It opened back in October 2024, and offers both “static” and interactive exhibits, Craft & Play sessions (where you can make your own Hanafuda cards), a café, a shop (with exclusive merchandise), and, starting this September, an actual Art Gallery!
The Art Gallery will open on September 3rd, and will be found on the 2nd floor of the Nintendo Museum Exhibition Building. It will offer a wide range of game artwork, including character illustrations and concept art.
Based on current exhibits, it’s pretty much guaranteed that the Art Gallery will feature some extremely rare and even some never-before-seen artwork.
If you were planning to visit the Nintendo Museum in September, but made a reservation for September 1st or 2nd, you can change the date of your ticket by cancelling your existing drawing entry and reapply immediately (or at the very least, by the end of June).
More details about the Art Gallery are bound to be shared in the near future, to stay tuned!
