Monster Hunter XX to get a Sailor Moon collaboration

If you’re an avid Monster Hunter player, or if you’ve simply been keeping an eye on the series, you definitely know about the many collaborations the games get. Many of them end up getting actual in-game content, and it’s the case of the latest collaboration revealed today, which is for Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross).

As part of the ongoing celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the Sailor Moon series, players will be able to get some Sailor Moon content in Monster Hunter XX. To be more precise, the following will be distributed:

  • Felyne weapon: C Moon Neko Rod (C Moon Cat Rod);
  • Felyne armor that makes your Felyne looks like Luna from the Sailor Moon series;
  • a special background for your Guild Card, with an artwork designed by Naoko Takeuchi.

Here’s a trailer and some pictures for that Sailor Moon collaboration:

Finally, here’s pictures of Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) charms, releasing on March 18th in Japan (on the same day as the game itself):

Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) (3DS) will be released on March 18th in Japan. Unfortunately, no western release has been announced so far, though even if there was one, it most likely would not be on Nintendo 3DS…
