Miitomo: 1.6m download in first four days in the US, Miitomo drop guide

MiitomoMiitomo came out in March 31st in Europe and North America, and was released two weeks earlier in Japan (on March 17th). Nintendo has already announced the game has been downloaded over 3 million times worldwide (as of April 1st), but we still don’t have concrete number for each region.

But thanks to Sensor Tower (an industry-tracking firm), we now know that during the first four days (from March 31st to April 3rd), Nintendo’s very first mobile app was downloaded over 1.6 million times in the United States alone. That number includes both versions of Miitomo (Android and iOS).

According to App Sensor, 51% of Miitomo installs are from the United States alone, with Great Britan, France, Germany, and Canada being the other top countries… but also accounting for less than 10% each. Unfortunately, we still don’t know exactly how much users are spending in the game (the most important metric for a F2P title), but that’s not something we will know until the usual meeting with investors at the end of the month.

Talking of Miitomo, Miitomo Drop can be pretty tricky. Getting the right piece of gear definitely seems impossible at first glance, especially if you just drop Miis at random. Fortunately, a fan on Reddit has put together a pretty neat guide, that will explain the best strategy to get each item. Click here to check it out!
