- The meter at the top of the cup selection screen that indicates the rate of team token acquisition does not change during team rallies.
- Starting with the Battle Tour, there may be times when it takes a while to advance to the next screen on the course selection and driver selection screens before starting a race.
- The “You’ve completed Premium Challenges!” text bubble at the bottom of the cup selection screen will not disappear even after moving to the Challenges screen.
- OUCH! is not displayed in battles when you take damage from Mushrooms, Dash Rings, Triple Mushrooms, or Feathers by getting rammed. Also, the Heart and Heart+ items cannot prevent ramming damage from the above items in battles.

- It is possible to obtain team tokens that should be unobtainable when racing on a course for which a Tokens Aplenty event is active during a Team Rally using auto-mode. Also, the number of team tokens collected is not displayed on the screen after the race ends.

- New ways to play are being added to multiplayer.
- Battles are coming to single player and multiplayer. In these battles, each player has balloons attached to their kart. Your goal is to pop your opponents’ balloons!
- The modes Standard Race and Gold Race will be combined, and Gold Race, available only to subscribers of the Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass, will be removed.
- Note: Gold Pass subscribers will still be able to increase their grade to S and higher.
- Shop Renovations
- adds Spotlight Shop, where you can purchase drivers, karts, and gliders featured in tour using rubies. New drivers, karts, and gliders, as well as drivers, and gliders that have appeared in the past, will be available.

- On the Manage Mii Characters screen, if you tap Add a Mii, then tap Via Nintendo Account, and then return to the app while the Nintendo Account web page is still loading, tapping Add a Mii again may not let you add Mii characters. After encountering this issue, you may also experience the following:
- When playing in a race, the race may begin without any opponents or you may be matched with the same opponents as the previous race.
- The score is not reflected after a race.
- The increased base points of drivers, karts, and gliders are not reflected.

- On Yoshi Valley, when the big egg is fired into the air, if you hit an item as it lands, the big egg doesn’t launch into the air again.
- When opposing team drivers are in higher positions than your team and one of them uses a Spiny Shell, the Spiny Shell does a lap around the course and targets the leading driver on your team.

- There will no longer be Log-in Bonuses for every tour, but bonuses may still be distributed for certain events.
- And if you continue your Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass subscription, you’ll get event more rewards! You’ll receive a gift each month that you have a paid Gold Pass subscription. - When the Coin Box on Tokyo Blur 4 is used, the coins it releases may land outside of the course.
- A bug affected the amount of speed boost received from driving into an opponent’s Mushrooms or Triple Mushrooms while the opponent has a Frenzy.
- Note: A Speed boost will occur when a driver gets close to another drive that has a Frenzy with Mushrooms or Triple Mushrooms.
- There was a bug in which drivers could get speed boosts from driving into Mega Mushrooms from an opponent’s Frenzy. This should not occur.
- A bug affected Shy Guy (Ninja)’s animation, in which when the character turned into a scrool, the bamboo leaves around the scroll were not displayed.
- When tapping the screen after a race to skip to the results screen, the collection of Grand Stars or the “New Record” text sometimes does not display correctly.
- The game screen can freeze if the date in Mario Kart Tour changes while Frequently Asked Questions, Tips & Tricks, or News is displayed.

- When opening a friend’s profile from the Friend Ranking screen, a different profile that the one intended may be displayed.
- While playing in multiplayer, drifting/steering button controls disengage when another player finishes the race.
- While using the Super Bell or Super Bell+ in multiuplayer, the displayed Super Bell item disappears if the kart comes into contact with an opponent. Afterwards, the effects of the Super Bell will remain active, but its bonus points do not get counted.
