  • You can now earn bonus points for finishing a race in Frenzy mode.

  • Race controls have been adjusted. A button has been added to the bottom of the screen (replacing the rearview mirror button) that allows you to drift or steer depending on the Manual Drift setting. The rearview mirror button has been relocated.
  • A list of tickets has been added. You can now see your inventory of tickets at a glance by tapping Menu, then Tickets.
  • A new way to earn bonus points has been added. Starting with the current tour, you can earn bonus points for finishing a race in Frenzy Mode.
  • Some Gold Pass text has been updated.
  • Adjusted notifications to better transition to the pipe, special offer, and Gold Pass screens.
  • Addressed issues affecting adding friends and linking SNS accounts.

  • On certain devices, the game may become unplayable when the race-results screen is displayed after the player has changed their control method to Drift
  • The game may become unplayable if a nickname is not entered when linking a Nintendo Account
  • The game may become unplayable when players transition to the main screen after the game starts up
  • Certain players may encounter error code 805-9314 after linking a Nintendo Account and become unable to play the game
  • The conditions for obtaining Grand Stars shown on the results screen of certain Bonus Challenges are incorrectly listed if the game is set to Simplified Chinese

To download updates for Mario Kart Tour, you have two options:

  • tap on the notification that should appear on your phone;
  • go to the App Store / Google Play Store, and more precisely to the “My Apps & Games” section > Installed tab (Play Store, Android) or the Updates tab (AppStore, iOS).
