Publishers

Once again, Nintendo was the most successful publisher in Japan with nearly 400,000 units sold (399.000 units sold to be precise). Mario vs. Donkey Kong accounts for a good chunk of those sales, but most of those are due to the usual evergreen titles.

  1. Nintendo: 399.999
  2. Atlus: 153.000
  3. Cygames: 93.000

Hardware

Hardware-wise, Nintendo Switch sales went down again in February, which is not too surprising given the lackluster line-up. It remains the best-selling console in Japan, though the gap was smaller than usual this time around.
