Famitsu previews (Apr. 25): ARMS, Splatoon 2, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi

This week, the following games will be showcased in Famitsu magazine:

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Nintendo Switch, releasing on April 28th worldwide), with a 4-page article about the game;
  • Splatoon 2 (Nintendo Switch, releasing on July 21st). Famitsu will begin their regular coverage of the game, with the return of the IkaSpo (Squid Sports) section. There will be a total of 13 pages for both that game and ARMS. The details in this issue will be about amiibo, as well as the new Salmon Run mode, and 4 comic strips. In other words, it doesn’t look like there is anything really new in that particular issue;
  • ARMS (Nintendo Switch, releasing on June 16th). Famitsu will begin their regular coverage of the game, with the launch of the ARMS Famitsu Boxing Meeting. There will be a total of 13 pages for both that game and ARMS. There will be various details, with a focus on Minmin;
  • Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi (Nintendo Switch, no release date but already added to the Upcoming Releases page). The latest entry in the Nobunaga’s Ambition series, with “Will” as the keyword. Includes an interview with the developers;
  • Kirby 25th Anniversary, with a retrospective of the series and result of players survey;
  • The Alliance Alive (Nintendo 3DS, releasing on June 22nd), with 6 pages detailing two new characters, and two worls (World of Snow and Crystal World)

The latest issue of Famitsu magazine (a double-issue, due to the Golden Week next week) will be released on Thursday in Japan (Wednesday afternoon/evening EU/NA time).
