Astrologaster
Nyamyam have announced a game for the Nintendo Switch: Astrologaster, to be released on February 18th in Europe and North America. It’s now available for digital pre-order.
Here’s a trailer and some details:
Astrologaster is a story-driven astrological comedy game set in Shakespeare’s London. Take on the role of the notorious Doctor Simon Forman and use Astrology to treat his patients. Will you win their favour or ruin their lives?
London, 1592. A great plague sweeps through the capital. When doctors flee the city in fear, a hero rises. His name is Simon Forman, “Doctor” of Astrology and Physick. Not only does he have the power to cure the sick, he can find their lost pets or even predict their futures, by reading the movements of the stars!
But when the plague ends, Forman’s problems begin. The real doctors return to London and they will stop at nothing to expose Forman as a fraud and bring him down. But Doctor Forman is determined to prove them wrong!
Play as Simon Forman, an astrological “doctor” who performs astrological readings to advise his patients on everything from marriage and love to pesky digestive troubles. But beware, for one thing is certainly written in the stars: how you choose to aid your patients will have consequences. So-called “real” and “licensed” doctors will call you a quack and a fraud, pfft. Help enough patients to prove these medical elitists wrong!
Developed in collaboration with the Wellcome Collection and the University of Cambridge’s Dr. Lauren Kassel and her team, Astrologaster is based on the real life of Simon Forman, astrologer and aspiring medical professional, and his recorded casebooks.
Now, on Nintendo Switch, take your unquestionable practices wherever you go and become the doctor you were always meant to be.

Plug In Digital have announced their latest game for the Nintendo Switch: Healer’s Quest, a parody RPG developed by Rablo Games. It will be released on February 11th in Europe and North America, and is now available for digital pre-purchase.

When evil forces awaken in the darkness, the world needs a team of heroes… But when these heroes are a ragtag bunch of unskilled jerks, only the healer can save the day.
Healer’s Quest is a lighthearted Comedy RPG where the player takes on the role of the most underappreciated party member in any fantasy realm: the Healer. Joining a band of inept misfits – a bossy tank, a handsome archer, a depraved mage, and a raging barbarian – he must keep his party’s health topped up whilst simultaneously managing dwindling mana reserves.
If party members die, they may well go into a sulk in subsequent encounters… He’ll need to manage moods with magical curatives, death prevention, and witty dialogue choices.
