Dai Gyakuten Saiban @ Capcom TV: recording now available on YouTube

Earlier today, Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken was showcased during the 18th episode of Capcom (its weekly web-show).

Unfortunately, nothing really new was shown, as the gameplay footage was from the very first case. It’s about a murder that happened in a restaurant called La Quantos, with a military man and an old man as witnesses, and Takeshi Auchi (Winston Payne’s ancestor) as the Prosecutor. It takes place in Japan, and Naruhodou Ryuunosuke is assisted by Kazuma Asougi (whose headband is floating in the air… maybe the windows of the courtroom were left open!).

The footage shown allowed us to see some really great animations for the characters, and especially Naruhodou Ryuunosuke. He has a tendency to move his eyes really fast, which is apparently part of his personnality. From the looks of it, the direction in which the various witnesses are looking on the witness stand is important in the game.

Here’s some new gameplay footage for Dai Gyakuten Saiban – Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (which starts at 24:54):

They also announced that the website would be updated tomorrow, probably with official pictures for the new prosecutor.

Dai Gyakuten Saiban: Naruhodou Ryuunosuke no Bouken (3DS) comes out on July 9th in Japan.
